Incident

Whilst walking Snowdonia's fourteen 3000 foot peaks in a day, my friend and I got lost in strong winds at dusk when descending Carnedd Llewelwyn. As night fell we retreated to the summit and spent the night there together in a bivi bag. We woke up the next day a bit cold but fine, and walked off the hill. Having almost completed all the summits in a day.

Lessons

We were over confident in our navigational skills which came unstuck as the visibility worsened.
