Incident

Climber climbed above anchor to top out (anchor was low over prow of rock to prevent damaging rope rub on soft Sandstone rock) but fell. Stumbled backwards and fell headfirst down gully to right of route. Fall was prevented by belayer.

Lessons

Use of rope rub preventers higher up route. Spoke with one of on-site instructors who said is would have been ok to set anchor higher up. Perhaps guide books (we used rockfax) could note place for anchor?)
